In the fourth season of Vikings, the show left off with the Saxons heading into the Norse shieldwal, which caused a number of casualties. There is a retreat, and during this time, infighting and death occur, including suicide. One of Ragnar’s sons declares his desire to raid the Mediterranean while Ivar, his fourth son, says they should continue their raids in England. A fight ensues, bringing death with it.
